Let God arise (Psalm 68)

O God of the Ages, God of all Creation, God who has always been, who is, and who always will be...

Arise O God, that Your enemies are scattered...Your very presence scatters the enemy. Those who hate You quickly flee in terror. Arise O God.

Drive away as smoke... a wisp in the breeze...they are nothing. BVut they flaunt their power and call themselves gods. The are desperate and drunk for power. Rise up O God and call out their folly.

Let them melt like wax in a fire. Loose Your holy fire upon them that they be no more. Let the scourge of their wickedness perish in Your presence.

Then will the righteous rejoice. Then will they exalt Your Name. Rise up O God.

I will sing to the God of my salvation. I will sing praises to Your Name. I will extol You who rides on the clouds. Your name is YAH! I will be glad in Your presence.

O God, You are the Father to orphans, and the Defender of widows.
You give home to the homeless and lead prisoners out of poverty.

You wet out before Your people in the wilderness. At Your presence the earth responds. The mountains shake, the rains pour forth, the very earth quakes. From You is rain pletiful. You resotre Your heritage when we are weary. You provide for the poor.

Give the command O God, and the Good News army rise up. Your enemies flee! ... and Your own divide the spoil. You scatter kings across the face of the earth.

The mountains are Your O God and You choose where Your presence will reside. You live forever. Your chariots or myriads, thousands upon thousands and You, Your holiness lives forever.

You lead captivity captive.

Blessed be Adonai!

You bear our burdens and bring salvation.
You are the God who saves. THrough You alone is there escape from death.

Surely, You will crush the heads of Your enemies. You will summon them from the depths of the sea and wash Your feet in their blood.

You are triumphant!

Your procession parades triuphantly and Your holiness prevails over the earth!
The singers are out front, the musiciansplay from behind. The dancers are in between the grand gala procession. In chorus they shout! "Bless God, Adonai, You are the source of victory!

O God, summon Your strength ad loose it over the earth. Hear my cry for Your righteousness. Bring forth the New Jerusalem that we may all bring our tribute before Your throne.

I will sing to the God over all the kingdoms of the earth!
I will sing praises to Adonai!

Hear my voice, O Ancient of Days. Strength belongs to You alone. Majesty is Yours alone. You are awe. You are all power. Blessed be the Name of the Lord.

Make Your face to shine upon us, so that Your way may be known upon the earth. You are the God of salvation. Make it known among all nations.

Let people give thanks to You, O God, All the people, all the people of the earth; Let the nations be glad and shout for joy, because You judge fairly and You guide the nations of the earth with wisdom.

You are the God of provision, for all the earth is Yours and You provide for all life . The earth yields its harvest because You ordain it to do so. Thanks be to God who blesses us.

May God continue His blessings, so that all the ends of the earth may know that He is God.

I will shout to God. All the earth shouts to God.
The earth sings glory to His Name.
His Name is glorious.

O God, Your deeds are awesome.
Your power causes Your enemies to cringe.
All the earth bows down to You. All the earth sings praises to You.
All the earth sings praises to Your Name.

Ome all, come! Come see what God has done.
His awesome dealings with manking.
He turned the sea into dry land so they could pass through the river on foot.

With His power he rules forever!
His eyes keep watch on the nations.
No rebel will ever rise that can challenge Him.

Bless our Go, o ye peoples!
Let the sound of His praise be heard!
He preserves our lives.
He jkeeps our feet from stumbling.

You are the God who has tested us.
You have refined us as silver is refined.

Had I contemplated evil, He would not have listened.

O God of Your Word. You have preerved Your Word over the centures; You have maintained Your everlasting presence through Your Word and demonstrated that You are God:

• You have foretold the future with detailed accuracy.
• Your Word has never been wrong.
• Every "jot and tittle" has come through without fail.
• You have demonstrated Your relevance through Your Word.
• You have given us Your Son, the Living Word.
• You are the God who keeps His Covenant.

Praise be to God on High, the One, True and Living God.

Your children, who have received Your gift of salvation, the Body of Christ, we seek You on behalf of this nation. The U.S.A. We are neither united or stately. We have transgressed against You with a great spirit of rebellion and done so with vigor.

You are a great ad fearsome God. You keep Your covenant and Your grace extends to those who love You. We strive to be obedient, but we are unsuccessful.

We have sinned, engaed in wicked actions. We have rebelled ad trued away from Your Word. We have turned away from the Living Word - from Jesus, who is Christ.

We have closed the Book of Your Word. We are not listening to truth or even have any interest in Truth. Jesus is Truth. We have no interest, and we vehemently turn away.

We have shut down every person who has spoken Truth to our leaders.

To You, O God, belong righteousness and we stand in shame because we broke faith with You. We do not listen to Your voice. We intentionally close our ears. We are unwilling to listen to Your voice, which You have made clear and available.

It is right that Your judgemet and wrath be poured out upon us, for we have sinned against You.

Your Word foretells of Your wrath so great that all under heaven will be destroyed. Have mercy on us. Build Your testimony. Save those who trust in You.

Not for our sakes do I ask this. I ask for YOUR sake. I ask that You have mercy because You are a God of mercy, who wants every person and every nation to beleive and be saved.

Raise up Your testiony ...that they may know that You, You alone, are God.

You are the God of all creation. Your magnificence overwhelms me to silence. I see to fulfill my allegiance, my devotion to You alone. You listen to my prayers, my mumblings, my feeble worship. You listen to all that is on the earth, even as the creation itself rises in song.

When wickedness overwhelms me, You are there. You have atoned for my sin and I am righteous through the blood of Christ.

How blessed are those You choose and bring near. You bring me near. We cannot be Intentional time with You is contentment for the soul and spirit. Your goodness pours over me. Holy, holy, holy is Your presence.

Your deeds, Your actions are all around. You have not remained hidden. Your awesome deeds are all around. Your salvation is clear. You are declared the God of Salvation - to the ends of the earth and through all distant sees - You are God.

By Your strength, You set up the mountains, the valleys, the seas...all proclaim Your power.

You bring peace to the roaring of the seas, their crashing waves, and Your peace extends to all who look to You. We stand in awe of Your signs. All the earth sings of Your power, Your faithfulness, and we can sing for joy with the creation.

You water the earth and care for it. You care for those who look to You and enrich us with the river of God. You provide all that is needed for our provision. You are the Bread of Life and the Living Water.

God og Heaven and Earth, crown Your servants with Your goodness that our steps may overflow with Your goodness. May our prosperity be rich, wrapped in the joy of Your presence.

Fill me that I may shout for joy and break into song.

I plead my case before a righteous God (Psalm 64)

I plead my case before You, for You are a righteous God.

Hear my voice, for I shudder with the pain in my heart. I plead from the depths within me for I am under the attack of Your enemy who hates You. And he hates me. Save me, preserve my life from the fear that is poured out.

Hide me from the secret devices of the wicked all around. The insurrection of evildoers permeates all the space and there is no way to breathe. They sharpen their tongue an spew out death to all who want to serve you. Their words are like swords. They aim their arrows with their poisoned words.

Help Lord, for Your servant pleads before You.

They shoot at the innocent, suddenly and fearfully. They fear nothing because, in their arrogance, they are do not acknowledge You. Together they find ways to divert good. Their snares for the righteous leave no room for stepping.

They think You do not see them –they even lie to themselves. They search to complete their evil desires as they conjur them up in their minds. The dept of their heart is putrid and there is not place for light.

You are God. Suddenly, You will shoot them down. Your arrows leave them wounded. Their own tongues make them to stumble. All who see them will shake their head with in disgust.

Move quickly O God, that eveyone may know that You are God and You are at work.

Move quickly O God, and show all who look...that they may understand that You are at work.

Let us rejoice in You as we take refuge in the safety of Your presence.
I lift Your Name on high, for You alone are worthy to be exalted.
Praise is for You alone.

Searching for God in the Desert (Psalm 63)

Oh God who sees me in the desert,

It is dark, cold, then hot. The winds blow sand in my thinking. It is never quiet, because the the accusations of the enemy presses in my mind against my heart and soul.

I seek You eagerly. My heart thirsts for the Living Water. My body longs for the Bread of Life.

This land is spiritually parched. It is exhausted and void of light. Death creeps into every crevass and the putrid smell of evil saturates everything.

Yet it cannot touch the majesty and brilliance of You, the One True Living God. Your power and glory cannot be dulled. Although the enemy seems big to me, he pales before You. He is dull and weak. He cannot even consider Your power. He is like a ant before the anteater. He is like a frog before the alligator. Truly, he is miniscule and he disolves before the Name of Jesus. Hallelujah.

I will contemplate You in the sanctuary of prayer, seeing Your glory and Your power...it is magnificent. You O God of the Living, of all the earth, Your grace is better than life.

• You are life. Your enmey is death.
• You are gracious. Your enemy hungers.
• You are omniscient, omnipotent, and omnipresent. Your enemy is insufficient and restricted.
• You are wisdom complete. Your enemy is so full of pride, he is doomed to destruction.

Now: whom shall I fear?

I will worship You, O God. All the day long, will I praise You for Your glory has not end. You cannot be minimized. Your love and care, Your provision is complete. Truly, it was complete before creation and will remain coplete forever.

Yes, I will bless You as long as I have breath. I will lift my hands in praise and lfit Your Name on high. For You are the Most High God and there is none like You.

You alone can satisfy. You alone bring living water and bread of life because You ARE the Living Water and You ARE the Bread of LIfe.

You are profound joy, I bow my head to receive Your grace. I meditate on Your goodness day and night and it sustains me, even here in the desert.

O God, You have been my help. You have placed me under the shadow of Your wings. Here I rejoice in God my Savior. Here, Your right arm upholds me and Your right hand support me. I will no fall For You are my support.

Your enemy, who seeks to destroy me will go down to the pit prepared for him. He will receive Your recompense for all the evil he has wrought. He will be silenced forever and You, O God will be exalted.

Jesus Christ is the One True Christ. Glory be the Lord of lords, King of kings, and Name above ALL names.

Waiting in silence for God alone (Psalm 62)

O God who sees the lonely, the hurting, the abandoned, see me.

My salvation comes from You and You alone and to thee I pray. You are my Rock, my salvation; You are my stronghold, what can man do to me?

Ho long, O Lord will You allow the decrepit wickedness of the world to continue? Your followers, who look longingly to You see Your flock as a sagging wall and a shaky fence...they lie in wait for our destruction.

They want to shake us. They take to lying and delight in the lies that bring destruction. They are heinous in their manners as they bless with their mouths and curse behind the back. Then they bring people into public forum and make a spectacle of them that others, who see the evil, will be silent.

My soul waits in silence for God alone, and becuse my hope comes from Him, He will answer me. He will not leave me alone. He will not leave me without comfort. The One True living God is is my stronghold and I will not be moved.

Uphold us to trust in Him. Gather Your people to trust in Him at all times. By Your Spirit, let our hearts overflow as we pour out our heart before Him. He is our refuge.

Seal us to trust in You alone. Let us not allow our eyes to look to those in the world who hold earthly power or those who are deemed important, They are merely a sham, and laid in the balance-scale, they go up as lighter than nothing.

Harden us, Your true believers, that we not wary from putting our trust in extortion, or the false hope of robbery. Let us not move to set our hearts on wealth, but work fervently for the Kingdom of Jesus Christ.

O God, You have spoken. Strength belongs to You. You are the God of grace. In the end, You will see that all receive their due reward –as their deeds deserve. Maranatha!

O God who hears the cries of His servant, hear my cry.

O God who listens to the prayers of those who trust in You, hear my prayer.

You are God Most High. In You I put my trust. In You is gladness amidst all sadness.

From the end of the earth, with a fainting heart, I call out to You and not other. O God of my heart, set me on a rock and establish me in Your presence.

You have been my refuge. You are my tower of strength in the cace of the foe. I will not tremble for You are my safety and You establish me in Your tent forever. In You I find refuge, and under the shelter of Your wings, I rest.

You, O God, have heard my cries, and You look into the depths of my heart. I am Your heritage because I fear Your Name.

Prolong the life of Your servant that Your Word can continue to go out. Establish me before Your throne foreve. Appoint grace and truth to preserve me to do Your will and proclaim Your Name.

A warning to leaders (Psalm 58)

God of gods, King of kings, Lord of lords,

Just as You said it would, the world is turning to evil. Just as Your Word documented, when leaders of a nation turn from You, the whole nation follows. ...yet, You always hold back a remnant. Thank You.

Many rulers openly speak out against justice! Over the years, those who would follow You have been silent and evil has prevailed. Have mercy.

I ask, O GodL "In their hearts and minds, do they intentionally devise wickedness? Do they know their judgements mock You?"

O God, they dispense violence with glee. They want war. They desire to tear down government, religion, and the economy and build exactly what You said: A one world government, religion and economy to take back the earth.

You told us this would happen so we would not need to be afraid. You also told us to occupy until You come. The persecution grows. Laws are crushing the citizens and the church.

As the church endures persecution, establish Your pastors who preach the whole council of Your Word. Give them voice, give them messages beyond their preparation. Under persecution, grow Your church. Reveal to the masses that this persecution will expose the evil –that many come to salvation through Christ.

The wicked rise up. They devise schools and training to ensnare others into their wickedness. They have been on the wrong path since birth. Their venom is poison and they stop their ears so Truth cannot prevail.

Your Word is Truth. It is pure. It is Life. Yet, they insist on their own desires; they will not consider facts; they detest Truth, they hate Life, and purity is anathama to them. They hate You and devise ways to persecute those who put their faith in You.

In the end, they will not prevail. You will shatter their teeth in their mouths. Yes, in the end, they will vanish like water that drains away. Their arrows will be blunted; they will be like a slug that melts as it moves. They will be like a stillborn child, even though they think they will create their own version of humanity. Their "human 2.0" will be as dust in the wind.

O God, show mercy on those under persecution. Uphold them. Still the pain from their persecutors. Strenthen their resolve to be faithful to the end. In their hearts and minds, raise up the knowledge that You are the Living God and You will uphold them and see them through.

As persecution continues and spreads; as the wicked devise evil schemes to torment those who live for You; O God, touch those under seige, under physical torment, under mental and emotional pressure from the lies of Your enemy. Touch them with the strength of Your right arm. Touch their minds to know they are pleasing You and their end is already established. You will bring them through and Your reward is sure. It is everlasting. You will prevail.

You are the Judge of the earth. Righteousness will be established. Your Word is from everlasting to everlasting.

I put my hope in You alone. Maranatha!

Resting in peace and safety (Psalm 57)

Oh God of Life, God of the Living, be exalted about the heavens. Glory to the God of Life. Glory to the Son who is the Way, the truth, the Life. Glory to the Holy Spirit who reveals to each the reality of Your existence, such that all are without excuse.

You are refuge for those who hide in You. I hide in You. Under the shadow of Your wings I sit in the peace and safety of Your care as the storms rage here on the earth. Thank You.

I call upon You, The MOST High God. You are accomplishing Your purpose for me! You have put everything in place and, each day, You lead me through troubled waters, through pleasant fields, through mine-fields that the enemy has set for me. But You are there and You are faithful.

You will send from heaven and save me as those who would trample me down take place to mock me. You see them. You have prepared a place of refuge for me.

Jesus, You have promeised that You go before me and that You will return to take me from here to the place You have prepared for me. Yes, I rest in peace as the world is in tumult.

You send Your grace and truth each day. You fill me up. You sustain me in confidence.

We are surrounded by lions; people who lie in wait to destroy us. They breathe fire, their teeth are like spears and arrows. Their tongue is like a two-edged sword and they incite doubt, division, and fear.

But God. MY God, causes me to dwell in peace and safety and promises that they sudden destruction will come to those who have lifted themselves as gods.

Be exalted O God, be exalted above the heavens. Fill the earth with Your glory. Do not delay for the enemy is stealthily making swift moves to remove those who put their trust in You.

Tey prepared snares for our feet, they have dug pits on the path. Cause them to fall into their own snares and pits, O God. Raise Yourself up on our behalf! Raise us up on Your behalf!

You are faithful and my trust is in You alone. All the day long, I sing Your praise and make music to raise the Name of Jesus before those who hate me. Rise up, my Jesus, rise up on my behalf. Sing a song from heaven over my life and fill me with the words that encourage.

Sing a song over me that brings Your majest through my lips to those who would hear that YOU are the way of salvation. You have paid the eternal price for sin to all who would hear Your call.

Call them loudly! Those who would be in my path and open my mouth with the Word of Life! Fill me with Truth! Pour Yourself out through this life that others may know You. Bring Your song among the nations!

Awaken Your standing army - the Body of Christ! YOUR Body. Raise us up with song and words of Life. Grant us urgency and fill us with Your everlasting joy that overflows from us with a great surge of the Gospel. Oh use us to bring in the harvest. ...and that we may be faithful to Your commission to make disciples.

Use us. Pour out Your music through us. Play us as an instrument - Your lute, Your lyre, Your tambourine, Your voice. Bring us forth as a mighty orchestra that proclaims the Gospel: JESUS SAVES! Hallelujah!

Your grace is great - yes, all the way to heaven.
Your truth is sure - all the way to the skies and beyond.

Be exalted O God, above the heaven! May we proclaim Your glory over all the earth!

O God, who shows favor to those who trust in You.

The enemy has taken over the minds of the nation. There is no logic, no reasoning with them. They seek to trample down everything that represents You.

I am so sorry that I was sleeping and didn bring this before You. Forgive us who have not been on the lookout.

The fight is on and the eneimeis of the Kingdom of Christ move swiftly. They lie in wait all the day long, they are many. Hear my petition O God who shows favor; for I put my trust in You alone.

Most High God, when I am afraid, I put my trust in You. I praise Your Word, I praise Jesus, HE is the Living Word. Hallelujah. Fear has no grip on me.

In You I trust, what can humans do to me?

All day long they twist my words and put lies in my mouth that were not. Their only thought is to harm me and bring destruction. They want to weaken me and kick me down and then scoff at me to others that fear may spread.

Truly, they want to kill me. They plot together all the day long. They dash out and strike me down and then hide themselves. But You are there. You know. And they cannot hide from You or Your wrath.

Nothing escapes their attempts to kill me as they spy on my every movemetn. But YOU, Adonai, God who hears and sees, YOU see their every movement!

Because of their crimes, they cannot escape; O God, rise up in Your anger and strike them down. Srike them from me.

You are the God who shows favor to those who trust in You. I trust in You.

You have kept count of my wanderings, You store the cries of my heart and You store my tears in Your bottole. All that I have done, it is written in Your books. You know all of me. Have mercy.

When my enemies see Your mercy in my, they will turn back. I call on You and on the day that You answer me, they will be aghast; because they will know that You are the Lord and that I am Yours.

I give You thanks for You rescue me from death. You gave Your Son in payment for my sins. Thank You Adonai, thank You Jesus, Thank You Spirit.

You keep my feet from stumbling and bring me into Your presence.
You are Light. You are LIfe.

Lord God Most High,

You are the God who listens and hears. You hear deeply. You go past the words and to the hearts and minds of those who seek You. You are the God who reveals Himself and does not hide. Hear my plea!

Answer me, O God who is merciful.

Panic surrounds this nation. The enemy shouts loudly, the wicked oppress and trouble is heaped on trouble and they angerly torment us... And Your people shudder.

Our hearts pound within us. Anguish surrounds us. The terroro fo death press down on us because we are Your people. Fear and trembling overwhel us and horror permeats every cell.

Oh that we had wings like a dove and could fly away and find rest.

You, O God are our rest. You protect us from the raging wind and storm. You are our Stong Tower.

God of mercy and grace, confuse and confound the speech of the wicked. Their violence and fighting continue in the cities, O GOD, it continues in their hearts and it overwhelms Your people. Day and night the eneimies of Your people move swiftly to bring malice and mischief. THey bring ruin and oppression. Fraud is everywhere!

Division threatens every good thing.

• Family member against family member
• Teachers against parents
• Racial division
• Political division
• Gender and marriage
• Rich and poor
• Global and national allegiance

Indeed, it is the enemy who has brought insult and swayed and defrauded this nation. We should have expected this from the adversary and been proactive. We didn't.

Our friends have turned from us. Companions defy us. Even church friends are deceiptful. We used to be friends. We used to be neighbors. Now we embrace division. Forgive us.

Bring them back us! Let us refrain from division! Let us come together in the Spirit for the sake of Jesus' salvation that waits for us, pleading that we find Him and receive His gift of salvation.

O God, for those who will never change; please take them out. I call on You to save us.

Every day, all day I complain to You and moan. I know You hear me. Thank You. You redeem me and You give me peace. You hear and humble those who fought me.

Grant us discernment when their words sound smooth as butter, but their hearts are at war. Grant thouse who would follow you to find Your sustenance. Do not permit us to be moved, for we come in the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

Bring down Your enemy O Lord, Down to the deepest pit. Cause those who are bloodthirsty and treacherous and who will not bend their knee now, to be removed.

You are a consumate God. You encompass all knowledge. You know all that is from before there was creation, YOU were there. You have always been there and You will always be. Nothing escapes You...nothing.

You are in every particle of the creation You brought forth. All that we know encompases You. You are not "miss-able." We cannot miss You! You have been proclaimed in every particle that exists. You are moe than we can comprehend. You alone are God.

You are God and You deliver for Your Name's sake. Your power cannot be exhausted: You vindicate those who come in faith and fall upon Your mercy. Praise be to Your Name.

Hear my prayer, for foreigners rise against me. Violence is on every side and they seek the life of those who follow Yeshua. They do not believe You see. But I know differently.

You are the God who helps me when I call. I'm calling.
You are the God who supports me in each trial. ...the trials are upon me.

You see those who are clearly pushing evil; those who lie in wait. They secretely hide in their treachery and blame their evil deeds on those who love You.

In Your faithfulness You destroy them! Thank You that You have taken hold of vengeance, made it Your own, and You exercise it in beauty and love for those who look to You in faith. I'm looking.

One True and Living God,
How wonderful to come before Your presence.
You encourage me to do so, because Your care for me is whole, full, and nothing about me escapes Your protection.

• Thank You for Your care;
• Your interest;
• Your attention to the actions going on in the world.

You do attend to everything said, and even every thought. People's actions do not escape You for have known these things since the creation.

So many people are clustered together. They tell themselves and they tell each other "There is no God."

They are depraved. Their deeds are vile and no one does what is good.

You know O God. You look out from heaven and You see all of us. Are there any in the human race that is wise? Are all corrupt?

Lord God, will the doers of God ever learn? They devour Your people and think they are great. They never call upon You. They deny You exist and they have become ther own gods. They trust in themselves.

Their future will come quickly when they are gripped with terror. They are not afraid now, but when You show them that You ARE the Lord, they will be gripped with terror. You will scatter their bones. Their end is in Your hands. You will besiege them and You will put them to shame. They will not escape for You have rejected them.

If only salvation through Christ would come into their hearts.
You, O God, will restore Israel. They will know that You are God and we will celebrate.

Betrayed, Psalm 52 Oh God, Righteous God, Purveyor of grace, mercy, and vengence.

Hear my prayer, as the evil in the world rises up. They boast of their vanity. They call themselves the "elite" ...but YOU, God of the Ages, YOU alone are significant. You alone are the Creater and You alone control the world.

Did kings go to battle without Your knowledge? Was Nebuchanezzer Your servant? Did You proclaim the destruction of Tyre, Egypt, Lebanon?

Were You the God who sent Israel into judgement in Babylon for 70 years? And did You send Joseph ahead, as a slave, into Egypt, that all Israel would be saved?

You are God. There is none beside You. All nations will be jduged by You. All people will bend the kneww before Jesus Christ, Your only begotten Son, and to whom You have given all power.

Your mercy is present every day to those who put their faith in You. There is no reason for the evil one and those who serve him to boast in their evil or enjly their power, for You O God, laugh at their folly.

THeir tongue is as sharp as a razor. They plot destruction and work deception every day. In their arrogance, they believe they can control the world: the climate, the crops, the food supply, and finance.

O God, they have made up their own religion of "climate change" and they are desicrating the food supply world wide to get rid of those whom You have brought forth. They even want to reform those You have made in Your image into "Human 2.0."

They love evil and control more than good. They lie in every word they say. They love to demolish people and subdue them, and take their dignity as they torment them mentally, emotionally, and fill them with fear.

Strike them down O GOd. Sieze them and pluck them from the earth. Uproot them from the land of the living.

Will You do this publically, that the righteous can see and rejoice. They trust in their own wealth and steal from You and those who follow You. Have mercy O God and do not tarry.

Place us in the house of our God. We put our trust in You. Let our praise rise up as a generous, fulfilling and satisfying gift before Your throne.

We put our hope in You. In Your Name, in the Name of Jesus Christ.

Have mercy on Your faithful this day.

Heavenly Father,

Your Word:

Psalm 100:3
Know ye that the Lord he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves;

Psalm 24:1
The earth is the Lord's, and the fulness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

REVERENCE:
You are God. All that is here on this earth is Yours. It belongs to You! You created the earth and all that is therein. You created us. You gave us free will. You have brought us forth. You have nurtured us, You have looked after us.

You have guided and led us through the prophets and Your Word. You have given us Your law...not to confine us, but to protect us...mostly from ourselves and the decisions that we make.

Thank You.

RESPONSE:
You have created us, yet, You have placed boundaries on Yourself, with regard to our free will...allowing us to make choices that affect our lives, those around us, and the earth itself. Thank You.

You have not meddled in our affairs...even when we have defied You; harmed ourselves and others, and take the lives that are Your inheritance.

You have withheld Your anger and poured out Your grace and mercy, so that we could see the results of our decisions and learn from our mistakes.

Yet, we have not done so. We have not learned from our mistakes. We blame You instead and turn to our own ways.

When the results of our decisions have proven harmful and deadly, we have not taken advantage of Your grace and mercy.

We have not returned to You. Instead, we have turned away from You.
Have mercy O God. We are blind, deaf and stupid sheep.

We need You.

REQUESTS:
There are those who take their lives. The suicide rate is climbing. Our youth are killing themselves, especially young girls. Our youth are killing others— school massacres have put fear in the minds of students and parents alike.

We take lives...our own and the lives of others. These lives belong to You. We steal from You. Have mercy on us. Help us Lord, to see truthfully.

Abortion is still rampant. We are self-centered and we do not want to take responsibility for our actions. Have mercy on us and help us Lord. Open our spiritual eyes to see clearly and truthfully.

We are so far from Your guidance that we are lost in the muck and mire of our own contradictions:

• We feel badly when people commit suicide. We even say, "What a waste."...yet we continue to affirm abortion.


• We celebrate "Free choice"...free for whom?


• We believe people should have the right to take their own life and we call it "dying with dignity." ...we do not believe that suffering can have value.


• We allow Planned Parenthood to continue aborting babies and spend millions of dollars to preserve both human sperm and eggs?


• When famous people commit suicide, we ask if there were "indications that they were struggling," yet we ignore the struggle of pregnant women who are deciding the fate of the unborn.

We refuse to believe that:

• You are the Author of Life.


• Life, lives and people, belong to You.


• You have provided a way to intimately know and understand You.


• You want to pour out Your goodness and health on us.


• You are Truth. ...making up our own version of it brings harm...even death.

READINESS:
Jesus is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.

Thank You for Your provision.

• Give us a stealthy vision on how to proceed.


• Ready us to reach out in the Name of Jesus Christ and with His consummate love.


• Equip us to move forward with the glorious words of life! Life in Christ!


• Grant us an eager spirit to put on the whole armor of God that You have provided for this battle.


• Open our eyes to see that YOU will win the battle, if we will go out! Thank You!


• Confirm to us that Your Word is Truth and it is Your will that we stand firm for Christ, and in His sacrificial love.

REJOICING:
Establish Your Spirit with us that we go about Your Way, rejoicing in our trials and troubles, because Jesus is coming soon.

Please pray with me:

Heavenly Father,
The blame game is in full swing. The Second Amendment pros and cons are screaming from the rooftop. The second agendas are in full bloom, full swing and full voice. Yet, You are God. Thank You. You see the beginning from the end.

You are a God of justice. You love our children, husbands and wives, brothers and sisters, teachers, first responders ...much more than we do...more than we can fathom. You too grieve at the loss at Parkland High, Sandyhook Elementary, Columbine High School...truly not one of them has escaped Your notice.

In the midst of our grief, You are the God who knows our sorrows. You are the God who hears our cry. We are sick at the Parkland shooting...as yet again we see more senseless loss of life. Families are forever changed.

Thank You that You never change.

Malachi 3:6
For I am the Lord, I change not;

We are consumed with our grief and we likely do not stop to see Your grief. I'm sorry. You suffer deep loss as well.

Psalm 127:3
Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.

We want to blame...we need a scapegoat:
I'm so sorry, but not much has changed from the beginning of time.

Genesis 3:12
“And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.”

Forgive us. We are so distraught that we want to lash out and blame anyone, anything, anybody that we see in our path. We join together, we band together with anyone who will stand with us—or allow us to stand with them. We point our finger, and join in the chant...at whatever comes our way. In this case, the obvious scapegoat is gun-control.

We don't know how to draw the line:
Father, we are so distraught that we could not stand it, if we realized that indeed, we are the problem. We are to blame. We can not bear to consider that we are guilty, we are at fault.

Yet, if we truly want to solve this problem, we must find the strength and the courage to look deep inside of us and realize that this matter began many, many years ago...when we turned from the safety of Your Word. We turned from Your guidance and determined that we have the answers.

Your Word clearly tells us how to draw the line. Yet, we have determined that we know better. We pushed Your Word out of our schools. WE decided that WE know better.

Forgive us. Have mercy on us. Grant us wisdom and strength to return to Your Word and find the lines that You set before us. Grant us the realization that You did this for our safety and for the safety of our children. We cannot find truth by ourselves. We cannot find the line by ourselves. We need Your help.

Help us to realize that we instigated these changes and help us to connect the dots to see the ramifications of taking control into our own hands without Your guidance.

We are a nation in rebellion:
Father, we refuse to draw the line in accordance with Your Word. Without Your guidance, mental illness has run rampage. Self-control has no boundaries.

The list goes on, and we refuse to take ownership that we have set up the circumstances that allow this horrible situation to perpetuate.

We pushed You out of the schools.
We put laws in place to support the killing of unborn children.
We have undermined Your definition of family.

Clearly, we don't know how to draw the line.

We indulge ourselves without regard for the consequences. And when the ugly consequences loom before us, we blame someone, or something else. We hold ourselves as righteous.

Forgive us. Cpen our eyes that we may turn our hearts to You. Strengthen our hearts to take responsibility for our actions. Grant us wisdom to find the line, and adjust our laws in a way that secures our land.

Help Lord,

That we may be found sober, diligent, and faithful in the day of His coming,

The one critical question that will truly reduce abortion in the U.S....the prayer of one sinner

For the U.S. to take ownership and stop killing babies through abortion

Please pray with me.

Oh Father, the words of Senator Ben Sasse ring in my ears as 46 out of 97 senators voted to "continue discussion" on the Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act.

Senator Ben Sasse:
A hefty majority (it's not close) of Americans support this legislation including:

• a super majority of women,
• including most young people,
• including most independents,
• and now ticking up just shy of half of all Democrats.

This should not be a partisan issue and in the future it won't [be].

It's going to be a bi-partisan issue, because you have to tell the truth, that those pictures, are pictures of babies and they are alive and they deserve our protection.
U.S. Senator Ben Sasse

This nation, that I love, The United States of America, has, yet again, decided to go its own way and ignore Your Word:

Exodus 20:13
"Thou shalt not murder."

My heart is heavy. It seems so clear to me...yet...

...my midwife-and-nurse friend clearly makes a case that there is so much more to this than convenience.

Confessing my own hypocracy:
I confess that I have dismissed those who are pro-abortion and lumped them into one group of people who, for the convenience of their comfortable life, elect abortion.

I have forgotten those who can't feed or manage the children they have and who crumble at the thought of one more mouth to feed, one more child to care for.

I have ignored the reality that as children grow, the needs become more sophisticated and complex...and at that time, much of the support has disappeared!

I have ignored that there may be "initial care" for mothers in need, but the long-term needs are even greater and the care dwindles.

By lumping together all people who choose abortion into one group who crave personal convenience and comfort, I have been a hypocrite. I did so for my own convenience.

Forgive me and show me my part.

Repentence:
I give You thanks that You are Truth. You are holy and Your ways are perfect. I bend my knee. I commit to listening to Your Spirit, to define my part, and to be obedient to Your leading.

The critical question:
What would give mother's (and fathers!) of the unborn babies long-term hope that the support they need will be there for them?

The needs are overwhelming and last for the remainder of the life of these parents. Raise up Your church to take a personal interest and provision for those in their community who are making a choice. Raise up Your church to commit to long-term assistance.

• The immediate care isn't obvious either...what about the other children?
• There are the basic needs: food, shelter and clothing.
• So many "other" needs: safety, a clean and pleasant place to live and grow.
• What about their emotional needs? Support for parents: financial, medical, emotional and so many other needs.
• Childcare. Father it is a never-ending need, even when the children become adults.
• What about the emotional support, when mother and child go home...when "life" starts again.

• this list is endless. And if we truly desire to shut down the abortion industry, we need to address it.

The critical answer:
Give us, Your church, a heart for these people who are caught. Help us to dismiss out criticism and judgement on them. Move our hearts to actively pour out Your grace on each situation.

Grant us an intense need to reach out. Give us new ideas on how to help by building communities of support. Bring along organizers to organize, lay ministers to minister, and may the blight of this sin be preached from the pulpits of this nation—that we may be rid of this curse that is upon us.

Raise up Your church. You are the God of Life. Help us align our support to ensure life and hope for those in this industry and those who are in need.

...all that we may be found faithful in the day of His coming.

Hope for a fractured nation —divided against itself...a prayer for unity

Hope for a fractured nation divided against itself...a prayer for unity.

Please pray with me.

Father, Your Word:

Mark 3:25
And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Heavenly Father,
I love this nation: The United States of America. The USA, where You have placed me. I am grateful beyond words that I live here and have the freedoms that have blessed this nation. So many people have poured out their very life for the freedoms that I enjoy each day.

I give You thanks. Yet my heart is heavy over the division that has captured the minds and hearts of this nation. It seems that one cause or another has brought disunity everywhere I look. People seem to be consumed with their flavor of disruption. Many seem to seek division in every conversation. It seems to have become our identity. Forgive us.

Father, the division is alarming. It is literally disarming and we are totally vulnerable.

Our nation is fractured.

• Sanctity of Life:
  • Abortion
  • Discarding unused embryos
  • Assisted suicide
  • Eugenics
• Race
• Marriage
• Religion
• Politics

It extends past the foundational precepts to the "Haves and the have nots," the "employed and unemployed," and You know what else we have proclaimed worthy of our division. I proclaim that Your Word is true (John 14:6), Your Word will not fail (Deuteronomy 31:8), and Your Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11).

Sanctity of Life:
You are the Giver of Life. (Genesis 2:7) Open the eyes of our hearts to understand that life is a gift and not ours to take. Unless You show us this way, it is not possible that we can find it on our own.

Forgive us for being so consumed on our own self-interests that we cannot look wider than our immediate desires. Please, God of Mercy, do not leave us in this condition.

Racial Division:
Father, raise up voices of unity between the races. This is not a new struggle, but it is more complex with more factions involved: Hispanic, Black, White, Asian, Latinos, and others. We need Your help. Yes, raise up hearts that reach across the divide of race and extend a smile of welcome, a hand of true acceptance.

Bind us together as one to fight for common causes of worth: to help the hungry and the homeless...to reach out to those without hope and by Your Spirit - lift them up.

Marriage:
Surely, Lord God, we are making up our own rules to accommodate our desires. The redefinition of marriage is a place of deep grief. Your Word is so clear and the ramifications of this choice are also clear. Yet, we have taken this path. Call us to repent, to confess, and to plead for mercy. We look to the statistics to justify our choices, and when they do not, we cover them up.

Yet, there are those who adhere to Your Word. Give us a heart to reach those who are pushing the agenda of redefining marriage and further defiling our nation.

Religion:
Father, this has become so complex. We have Muslim against Christian, Muslims against Muslims, and Christians against Christians. Is it no wonder that so many people have become disappointed and left the entire of concept of Your being?

Within Your true Church - those who have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, I ask for unity... unity and desire to love each other. Your Word tells us that "they" will know we are Christians by our love. Give us a heart to love each other. Unify Your church within the individual churches.

Redirect our minds and hearts to organize in prayer and outreach to demonstrate Your Gospel, the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. May these demonstrations be a part of every day as we seek You, speak our faith, and respond to help those in need. Give us eyes to see the need of others, and motivate us as to how we can meet those needs. May we put down our differences and unify to proclaim the Good News.

Politics:
What a befuddlement. How can we pray effectively for our government and leaders. You command us to do so, but putting it into practice has become a challenge.

Father, I ask for wisdom for our leaders—national, state, and civic. Wisdom to seek out their own hearts and put aside their anger and frustration and find Your grace. Please place a desire for unity across the lines of division. I include our Senate and House: both nationally and at the state level. Grant them insights to see pathways that will bring people together and unify them across political lines.

Please give them ideas on how to show the love of Christ to each other, remembering that perfect love casts out fear. Bring Your perfect love into their daily situations. Grant these leaders self-control. Fill their hearts with new words, new responses. Please bring unity to our political venues.

Proverbs 15: 1
A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger.

Help us. Bring unity to Your people. That we may be found faithful in the day of His coming.
