Provision Prayers: Freedom from Fear.
    Psalm 34

God of all creation: the earth, the heavens– all that is seen and unseen.
Your Word lights the universe.
Your Word opens hearts and minds,
Your Word is living, breathing…all knowing,
Your Word is consummate.
Thank You.

John 1:1-2
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God.

John 14:6
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
Jesus, the Christ. You are the Living Word. You are Truth. You are Life. In You is all that matters. Your Word pushes out the thoughts that infringe on my peace. Plant it deeply within me and grow it so that it consumes my innermost being, Then, surely, all will be well.
Psalm 34:
1 I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
Oh that I wish this were my reality. It is my hope. It is my deep desire.
2 My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
The humble shall hear? THEN humble me fully, that You are all I can boast about. I want to hear. Is it my heart that needs the humbling? My mind? Take them. Take them completely.
3 O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Be magnified, O God. Grow in stature…fill my thoughts, direct my eyes, fill my ears and silence the sound of the world around me…anything that diminishes Your presence…seep into all that I am.
4 I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
Oh wow. Yes. When I seek You, You hear me and deliver me. Fear is gone. It disappears and is no more. What do I seek that isn’t You? May I ask for mono vision? That everything around and in me…converge into one thing: seeking You! THAT would be a good day!
5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
6 This poor man cried, and the Lord heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
Just looking at You brings light and eases the weight of the day. You brighten my face —from deep within my heart. Looking at You, looking to You causes troubles to disintegrate. O praise be to the God who hears.
7 The angel of the Lord encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.
Fear: a multi-dimensional word. The world fills me with fear …the fear of the world. It’s very dangerous. But YOU, Your Word, fills me a different fear! —with the fear of the Lord. That fear delivers me from their fear.

Thank You for Your heavenly hosts, who protect me.
8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Now what is the flavor of Your blessing? I haven’t thought about this before. There are actual flavors to Your goodness, Your righteousness? What about Your justice? …or Your redemption? …or Your salvation? …or Your peace?

What we have here is so limited. When sin is gone and time shall be no more and we are with You, our senses will all be released to their fullness. Thank You for Your Word that confirms to me my future salvation.
9 O fear the Lord, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.
10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.
11 Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
You are consummate. You are fullness of life. All needs are met through You. Fill me with this “fear of the Lord.” Teach it to me in every aspect of my living, that every particle of my being is filled with the fear of the Lord.
12 What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?
13 Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.
14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
Me! That’s me! I am that person! I want to see Your goodness around me. Bridle my tongue and lips; but more so, fill my heart and mind that what comes from my mouth pours out Your goodness to those around me.

Direct my steps! I need Your road map, Your guidance, Your GPS. Place only those paths on the map that lead to Peace. To Jesus, who is the Prince of Peace. Help me to diligently follow the map.

Your Word is the Map. Your Spirit is my Teacher and Guide.
15 The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
16 The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
17 The righteous cry, and the Lord heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.
It is a difficult thing to consider that Your eyes are “on” me. I feel Your presence, which is a daily treasure. Knowing You are with me; knowing that You hear every cry —including the silent ones in my heart— knowing that You hear AND deliver me…there is the foundation of my strength and courage. Thank You.
18 The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all.
20 He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.
This is again beyond me. You know the brokenness of my heart. You know where all the hairline cracks are. Grant me an eternal contrite spirit and bring Your continual deliverance to my awareness, that I can continually “Bless the Lord” and that Your “praise is continually in my mouth!"
21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
22 The Lord redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
Secure my trust O God. I believe in Your Word. I believe in the Living Word.
1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Shine Your peace upon this dark and fearful world and squelch the fear that has spread like a cancer. Shine Your peace within me and shine forth from me, that those around me, who are fearful, may find relief. Fill me with Your fear —the fear of the Lord!. Shine on, Lord God…cast Your perfect love upon this ailing world. In You alone, we have hope.
Remember the suffering children, and come quickly.

Maranatha.

Provision Prayers: ...from the Root of Jesse.
    Isaiah 53

The Word of the Lord is sure. This is Your Word

Isaiah 11
10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Isaiah 53
1 Who hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the Lord revealed?
You have revealed Messiah to us. This nation has embraced You and called upon You. We are One Nation Under God. Although many want to irradiate You from every platform, every mention, every thought in the minds of the people…and although many, in positions of authority have denied You and rejected You, O Lord God, You have still revealed Yourself to us.
2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
Jesus, You were a tender shoot…I ask You to give this nation a tender heart. We have become a dry ground….through our own poor choices, we have dismissed the beauty and prosperity that You have showered upon us. We are now a dry ground. Our identity has been divided, diluted, and the division grows deeper.
3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
Despised. Rejected. Full of sorrow with grief as Your companion….we have hidden our faces from You. You have become despised. We too are now despised. We have lost our place as the global agenda tries to absorb this nation.
4 Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
But You took our grief upon Yourself. You carried our sorrows. You were stricken, smitten and afflicted. You were wounded, bruised, chastised…and it was for the joy set before You?
This is not something I can understand…but it is Your Word:
Hebrews 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God."
All, that we might be healed, find peace with God and be forgiven.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.
Oh Jesus, You knew these Scriptures and You filled every prophecy completely. The Word testifies that You are Messiah. You came to redeem Israel and You will. Your covenant ill not be forsaken. Every jot and every tittle will be fulfilled. Thank You…for You are complete.
8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
What about the United States? What about us? Is there redemption for us. You also come to redeem the gentiles. Your Word:
Galatians 3:13-14
13 Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.
I claim this. I claim it for this nation. Can I do that? We are a wicked, rebellious nation that has turned from You, denied You, thrown You out of our colleges, our schools, our legal system, our government…and even out of many churches…as the apostasy has crept into the so-called-Christian churches here.

I am so ashamed.
9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
Ah…BUT You died for all…the wicked and the rich…in Your death, You covered all. You, only You could do this, because only You are without sin.

This nation identifies with the wicked and the rich. …and yet, we do not acknowledge You on either.

I am so ashamed.
10 Yet it pleased the Lord to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the Lord shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
Pleased You? You were pleased to take on this depth of grief and to offer Your life and soul for our continued transgressions? …Yes…the seed of David. You have prolonged the days of Your Nation, Israel, and Your beloved city of Jerusalem. Your pleasure shall be satisfied.

Romans 11 promises that the gentiles are grafted in. Thank You. Yet, we too are a wild branch and our sins are undeniably abhorrent and grievous.

Yet, You travailed …for us, the gentiles. You bore our iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Please have mercy on this nation. I ask it. We cannot survive the evil that is upon us, within us, and moving quickly to consume us.
Please. Please have mercy. You are our only hope.

Consider the children, O God….for Your Name sake. …that they may know that You are the Lord.

Maranatha.

Provision Prayers: Mourning turned to Dancing

God of heaven, whose word never fails,

Psalm 30:
1 I will extol thee, O LORD; for thou hast lifted me up, and hast not made my foes to rejoice over me.
My spirit is forlorn, but my trust remains in You.
You alone are the First and the Last Word. Your Word is eternal.
You alone have the end-game. I put my trust in You.
2 O LORD my God, I cried unto thee, and thou hast healed me.
This is Your Word and I consider it done. Though my heart is heavy, and my body is saturated with pain; though my mind is empty, and exhaustion renders me numb…yet I believe I am healed…for You have spoken it.
3 O LORD, thou hast brought up my soul from the grave: thou hast kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
Repeatedly, You have raised me up from death. You have sustained me. You have upheld my hope and You have been my encouragement. Thank You for You are gracious and full of mercy.
4 Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
Yes, I will sing. O let a song well up within me. Let it be one I cannot contain. May it come forth from my whole being. Yes! A song of thanksgiving and praise. I will sing of Your holiness.
5 For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
This Word is cherished and holds me still. This Word establishes me firmly as I behold Your countenance as You look upon this land. How can I seek Your favor as unrighteousness reigns and finds many worship and protect unrighteousness?

How do I raise my eyes to You as this nation has committed adultery with You and forsaken You…as we enjoy the continued blessings that have come from Your hand? Yes, I weep.

O God, I take heart only because of Your Word: Your anger is but for a moment. You favor is life, and You will bring joy in the morning. I am without understanding as Your mercy prevails.
6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
We have been a proud nation. We have believed in our own might, our own abilities, and we have take matters into our own hands…Pride has swallowed us, consumed us, and we are deliriously drunk with our conceit.
7 LORD, by thy favour thou hast made my mountain to stand strong: thou didst hide thy face, and I was troubled.
8 I cried to thee, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.
Why would You continue to favor us? Why would You continue to stand here…not for our sake, but for Your honor, Your righteousness. Use this nation O God. Come to our rescue that the world may know that You are the LORD. Come to our rescue…for the world is watching.
9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise thee? shall it declare thy truth?
10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
This is my prayer O God. We are of no use to You if we go down. The United States of America - that proclaims, “In God We Trust” …we are the laughing stock of the nations. BUT YOU, O God, hear my prayers and the prayers of many others. We beseech Thee, have mercy, LORD, be thou our helper.
11 Thou hast turned for me my mourning into dancing: thou hast put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.
Though I cannot hear the music, though my heart continues to drag in grief, I believe the You have done this. My grief is done. My song is at the ready. My dancing shoes await.

Move swiftly O God, start the dancing song. Uplift the hearts that mourn. Declare Truth. Proclaim Justice for this nation.
I wait upon You and I believe that it is a done deal.
O God, to You be the glory.

For the children, hasten to our cause.

Maranatha!
