AGI PRM Harvest Prayers 11: No Strings Attached

Oh God of all creation. God who speaks, who hears, who cares, and who desires our presence. I believe that You are who You have said You are. You are the Great I AM. All glory of all that happens belongs to You. Nothing happens except what You bring or allow.

Let us not be deceived. Truly, Your Word is the only place where we can put our trust. Thank You.

Your Word:
Jesus Christ. YOU are the Living Word. All things were created through You.

John 1:1-3
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

Jesus, You gave Your life that we could be spared the death demanded by our sins. You gave YOUR life in payment of our debt, that we might live. Father, You poured out Your wrath...in full... on Your only begotten Son. And when He became our sin, You had to turn Your back from Him. All so that we might have life.

Righteousness & Justice:
Oh God, Your righteousness demands justice. When we are wronged, we desire justice. When we deserve justice, we recoil. Your holiness does not waver. Justice must be served.

Your Mercy:
It is easy to take Your mercy for granted. We live in this world that continues to come against us. Our enemy comes against us...to steal, kill, and destroy.

I harbor the security that I have through Jesus. I protect my personal besetting sins and live in the belief that You are okay with them.

Forgive me for taking Your mercy for granted.

Challenge me. In Your love and care for me, uncover my sins and set them before my eyes.

Desire:
Oh Father, Lord, and Holy Spirit, I want to do my best for PRM. I want to have some kind of legacy –something to leave behind for those who will follow. How can I give all that I am, when I still harbor my pet sins?

Ony through Your Spirit is this possible. I know that You, my God cannot look at me, except through the shed blood of Jesus.

“But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.” – 1 John 1:7

"But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judgeth according to every man's work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear: 1 Peter 1:15-17

I come and fall before You, In gratitude, knowing that only through Your touch, can value be established.

Bring our felloship together for this project. There are years of toil. Years of dedication. Years of wrestling and sacrifice to bring PRM to this place and time.

Strings attached?
Do we all come with strings attached? Some good and some not. Free us from any restraints that diminish the value that represents You. Grant us focus as You lead and guide us. Place Your cover over PRM and all who server You there. Protect all that will serve those who will follow.
