Election 2020: One man for God

Father, Lord and Holy Spirit,
Blessed be the Name of the Lord God of Heaven. Blessed be the Name of Jesus Christ, Yeshua Ha Meshiach:

My heart sits in my stomach as I wait on the election results and anticipate the congressional actions that will transpire today.

I put my trust in You. I believe You know what is best for this nation and You will implement Your will. The hearts of many have petitioned You over the last weeks. I am only one of many.

The questions are no longer limited to politics but include the fate of this nation:

— Will we lose the republic?
— Will China win the war on this nation and turn it towards communism?
— Will the election fraud be exposed?
— Will the threats, coercion, blackmail, and payoffs of public officials be brought to justice?

Many of us deeply desire that President Trump will have a second term. We are also concerned that the credit for such a victory be given solely to You. If he is given a second term, will he take the credit? Will he acknowledge Your mighty hand? He has been doing so publically, but You alone know his heart.

As we wait on You O God, we cannot help but consider scenarios on how this will all work out. I bring to You how You have worked in the past— as You have indicated in Your Word. You have used specific leaders throughout the history of Israel to save and secure the nation.

David slew Goliath!
Against all odds! David was the least likely person to win that battle for all of Israel. Everyone else was shaking in their tents.

Like David, President Trump was least likely to become President. You placed President Trump in the middle of the battle. He seems fearless. He boldly did what so many presidents were too afraid to do! He reduced the money to Planned Parenthood. He moved the Embassy to Jerusalem. He brought together the least likely middle-eastern countries to sign agreements. He cut off China from stealing our technology. You know.

Joshua marched against Jericho.
He was commissioned by You to move into the promised land and fight against the inhabitants who practiced child sacrifice, and who bowed to Ba’al and many other false gods.

We believe that You have commissioned President Trump to move in and remove the corruption in this land. I do not put my hope in him, but in Your work through him.

Gideon slew the Midianites.
With only 300 men, 135,000 Midianites were overthrown — with only 300 men! They surrounded the enemy with a surprise attack. The enemy turned and fled.

So I set my face towards Your work here in the United States. It does not matter how many judges refuse to hear the evidence. You know the evidence. It does not matter how many legislatures remain stoic against President Trump. It does not matter home many millions of people voted for President Trump and how many millions of votes were fabricated by the leftest agenda. The numbers do not matter.

Clearly there are times You have used one man to lead a nation out of trouble. I ask that You do it here in this nation as well and at this time.

Hear my prayer, O God of mercy. I come in the Name of Jesus,
