Proverbs 29:2
When the righteous are in authority, the people rejoice: but when the wicked beareth rule, the people mourn.

Please pray with me:

Heavenly Father,
Our Supreme Court has been crippled by the death of Justice Antonin Scalia. His death has tipped the scales with regard to the opinions and decisions y the team of men and women who are charged with decisions that have the power to completely change the tenor of the United States. These men and women need Your help. They need Your guidance. Please insight an army of prayer warriors to pray for them, for their souls when they stand before Christ, and for them to have a heart to restore our land to a god-fearing, god-honoring "one nation under God."

Truly, we, as a nation have turned from You and towards our own ways. The decisions of the Supreme Court seems awash with the trends of the day that they receive from the pressures of society. That is not their job! Help them to focus on their job to interpret cases as defined by the Constitution. Instill in each one of them a love for and appreciation of the original intent of the Constitution that this land honor You and honor Your Word. Yes, Father, I am asking that You give them a new heart and a new spirit within them.

Ezekiel 36:26
A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

Surely, our nation is at a crossroads. As these men and women define the law of our land, the laws are shifting to protect every possible whim and imagination. We are set on doing what we want. We are set on pushing the gamut of activities that Your Word clearly tells us is against our best interest, our health, our well-being. Father, this seems to be done at the expense of Your church and Your children, who are now targeted as enemies of society. Father, it seems that Your church is dormant, silent, cowering in the corner, and in some cases, we have become reprobate.

The judges throughout the U.S. are making decisions daily that change lives, families, and communities. Guide them in their decisions. Give them a clear vision of how their decisions will affect the long-term as well as the immediate future of those who stand before them.

May our judges and Supreme Court Justices truly seek justice. May they come to terms and embrace that YOU are the true Giver of justice and only source for true justice. As we long for our own way, may these people who lead our nations in these decisions prepare themselves to stand before You. May they devote themselves to learning and understanding justice as You define it. May every one of them, bow their knee at Throne of Grace and before Jesus Christ and submit themselves, their lives, and the decisions that they make to please You. In doing so, may they protect the U.S.

This cannot happen without Your intervention in their lives. So please, Lord God of Justice, please intervene in their lives. Change their hearts and give them a heart to please You, live for You and deliver decisions that align with Your Justice.

Raise up supporters who will cover them and their families in prayer. Help Lord. We need You. Cause revival to break out that our land may be saved. Raise up Your church from our dormant state and may we take a stand and speak the Truth in ways that can be heard and received. Place words in our hearts, minds, and mouth that we may shed our fears and speak the words that align with Your will for us.

Leviticus 10:10-11
10 And that ye may put difference between holy and unholy, and between unclean and clean; 11 And that ye may teach the children of Israel all the statutes which the Lord hath spoken unto them by the hand of Moses.

Please pray with me:

Heavenly Father,
You are holy, pure, and timeless. And Your wisdom is true, just, and beyond time. Your guidance is sure and Your concern is for us. You are omniscient. You are all knowledge, and you are wisdom. You alone know the full application of wisdom to knowledge. Today I beseech You for this purpose for our nation.

You are Truth.

John 14:6
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Father, we have defined Your truth. We have substituted our truth for Yours. We have veered away from Your Word. Forgive us. Our schools and universities have been bullied into embracing humanism...and we have let it happen. Forgive us. You, and You alone define Truth. You are Truth.

We have elevated our human truth: Humanism. As a nation, we have made it our god. Our pride has replaced the wisdom that You have made available to us. Forgive us. Have mercy. Open our eyes and hearts that we may see Your Truth - which is omniscient. Give us hearts to receive Your wisdom that we may repent of our feeble and prideful standards, which mock You.

Father, we need Your intervention to reverse the trend of humanism. We can not do this on our own. Our churches, our pastors, our schools, our very homes have been infiltrated. Unless You help us, we cannot do this. Help Lord. Have mercy on us. Our sin is great....but Jesus.

Jesus, You died that we might have Life. You are the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Thank You that you have not left us without direction. Holy Spirit, open our eyes to see Truth. Open our hearts and prompt us to action.

Father, we tremble before the humanists. We cower. We need Your words to speak to them. We need Your love to embrace us that our words may be heard. We need Your action plan. Raise up an army of warriors to pray this cause before Your throne of grace. Truly, our nation has entered a phase of persecution for those who speak out against humanism. We are now called the haters...forgive us for not being on guard and fighting this over he past years.

Show us our part to reverse this blight on our nation. Give us actions and words to reverse the humanism in our schools, universities and in our land. From the smallest kindergarten to the top universities, may the Truth of Jesus Christ reign again. This seems so impossible. Our nation has sunk to such lows that this seems out of reach.

Yet You encourage us:

Luke 1:37
“For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

Embed this in our hearts. Steel our focus and our resolve that You can do this. Show us the path of faith and belief. Bring us prayers that will move You and cause reform in our land. May our prayers be Your delight. May our hearts engage with You and be Your treasures. May we hound You, day and night on this matter, that You would help us return this nation to One Nation Under God.

Heavenly Father,
You are the Creator and all things belong to You.

Psalm 50:10
For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.

Yet, You have lavishly poured out Your blessings on this nation. Thank You. We have been a prosperous nation and repeatedly served as a flagship of care and giving to the world. We have poured Your blessings out to other people, here in the U.S. and to other nations. All of this has been accomplished because of Your generosity to us. Thank You.

What a blessing to pour out Your lavish provision to us. What an honor to give in Your Name, and in gratitude for all You have done for us in the U.S. and all You have given to us. Your mercy has been without flaw.

Father, as we have become accustomed to so much, we have forgotten that everything we have is because of You. We have taken credit for our giving. We have credited ourselves for lavish lifestyles and we have become a nation that is wasteful. Forgive us. Call us to confess and repent.

We have forgotten that when we are wasteful, we are wasting Your gifts to us. The amount of food we throw in the trash, our desire to buy, to have...Father, it seems we have become addicted to "having stuff." We have lost sight of You as our Shepherd, and that You supply our needs. We have moved past our needs to our desires and allowed them to take control of our buying. So now we have less with which to help others. Worse, we have come to believe that all the stuff we have bought belongs to us and we have lost sight that it all belongs to You. Forgive us. Call us to confess and repent.

There is so much need in the world and none of us can claim ignorance. The news media reports the horrid conditions of people all over the world...people who have no food, no shelter, no water. We have no excuse and we cannot say that we did not know. We turn our heads, avert our eyes, and go about our busy-ness. Forgive us. Call us to confess and repent.

For many of us, there is so much need that it is overwhelming. I want to help! But the need quickly outstrips my resources and I don't know how to help. I feel meager and impotent. I am frustrated that I can't find additional resources. I know that others feel the same way. Help Lord!

Call us to stand before Your throne of grace to beckon You to show us how to help. Gather us, Your church to mobilize and help these organizations that are already in place. Guide us to know how to give what we can. Give us a heart to sacrifice and give.

Father, if I can save $20 a week on food, then I can give $80 a month to an organization that feeds the poor. If I can save only $10 a week, then that's still $40 a month, almost $500 a year! Encourage us that little bits can make a difference. Implore our hearts, turn our minds to do what we can.

And what about our stuff. We all have so much stuff. Bring us a mindset of minimalism...or at least frugality, not just in our finances, but in our collections of stuff and in our buying. Help us to cultivate a different mindset towards our needs and give us the perspective of the needs of others. Show us how to manage our thinking so that we can down-size our needs and use what we don't need to help others. Give us a joyful drive to do this!

Mobilize us as a quiet army of givers. Help us to prioritize our lives in comparison to the enormous need around us. As we become thrifty and sensitive to the enormity of need, may this become our new lifestyle.

Father, the needs of hungry and homeless people here in the U.S., the needs of refugees, especially in the Middle East, those affected by earthquakes and weather disasters...guide us on how we can help andiInvigorate us to do so.

Heavenly Father,
Help Lord! The United States is under attack. Social agendas prevail. We have slept while the enemy has advanced and now our children are required to be indoctrinated by the sexual agendas.

The enemy is organized and fierce. The agenda permeates the textbook and teachings of children of every age. Everywhere they turn they are taught and coached on the social and sexual agendas that defy the safeguards and definitions that You have created.

Our stand is weak. We slept while these agendas were given life. We did not take a stand when prayer was eliminated in our schools. We did not voice our desire for Your definition of appropriate sexual conduct or the definition of marriage. As the enemy organized and engaged the legal communities, we have cowered in fear.

Truly we are now at the place where our nation calls right wrong and wrong right.

Isaiah 5:20
Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Forgive us. Raise us up. This is not a battle of flesh and blood but a spiritual war for the very minds of our children. Raise up the prayer warriors. Call us to pray diligently. Pour out prayers for the safety of our children, and for Truth to predominate. Father, bring us before Your throne of grace with hearts of repentance. Give us words of confession, hearts of repentance, and voices that cry out day and night on behalf of our children.

Proverbs 22:6
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Father, it is now against the law to adhere to this verse, because "the way he should go" has been redefined. We need wisdom. We need talented orators, persuasive writers to rise up. Father, I do not believe that You have left us defenseless. I pray for these writers to rise up. I ask for educators, who are steeped in Your Word, to present Truth from Your Word.

The textbooks promote the agenda of the enemy to capture the minds of our children. Raise up new voices, new writers. Give them unyielding courage and words that capture the hearts and minds of those who willingly go along with those who hate You. Enable these writers to cause both children and adults to desire Your foundation and to write effectively.

As this nation evaluates and negotiates the "Common Core," I ask that You raise up an army of voices that will speak with wisdom and capture hearts and votes to return to our heritage. Pour out your Spirit on those who would rise up in educational agendas, stand up in the meetings and voting rooms and give them convincing words so that, one school district, one State at a time, this nation can return to our heritage—the one given us by You.

Father, there are so many, who are comatose and silent on these matters. In Your mercy, give us the situation that would cause them to awaken. Invigorate them to stand up, to stand strong, to support those who risk their careers and livelihoods because they speak out. Help us care enough to turn this around.

It seems we are cowering in fear and there is reason to do so. The enemy has become so organized that they ave been able to destroy the lives of those who take a stand for the principles that You have set forth. Yet You have not given us a spirit of fear.

2 Timothy 1:7
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

May we awake to Your truth. May we embrace the sound mind that You provide.

Father, there s a process that pushes these agendas. The "educational agenda" is surely near the top of the list in the enemy's war room. Educating our children is a topmost priority. You are stronger than the enemy. Give us insights into this process and place spirit-filled soldiers at every point to deter the agenda to take over our textbooks.

Shield our children that they not give way to what is fundamentally adverse to Your Word.

I pray wer are not too late. I ask that Your Spirit awake us to the dire situation. Invigorate us to pray, act, and live with courage. Strengthen our trust in Your care and love for us. May we recognize that we have turned from You, that we have slept, and we must confess and repent. Help us to embrace You, knowing that You will help us in this grave time of need, if we turn to You.

Help Lord. You are the One True and Living God. Your Word will stand. You are our only hope. Only in You is life. Show us the path. Raise us up and may we be a nation of stalwart soldiers once again.

Heavenly Father,
Our entire nation seeks out and engages through media coverage. Every part of our lives is saturated with some kind of media coverage. Surely it is a constant barrage and it is used by the enemy as an effective weapon of mass destruction.

Many of us have become addicted to news. And the availability of instant information has caused many of us to spend much of our energy looking, monitoring, and scouring the plethora of media that is available to us. Truly it can be addictive. At the very least, it is a distraction.

We are ALL engaged in the media:
EVERYONE is affected by "the media" today. We are the media!

At least in the United States, most of us have a role. We have accounts with Twitter, with Facebook, with Pintrist, with many social media platforms. Even the professional communities engage through LinkedIn. It is everywhere and we are all involved.

Even if we do not actively participate in the social arenas, we are surely targets. The social platforms are used by the enemy at every level...our desires, our appetites, the size of our houses, fashionable clothes, the newest entertainments, new experiences of every imagination.

We are under a constant onslaught. The enemy attacks us continually to influence us in every area of our lives: physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual. There is no way to even begin to sort it all out. The arrows of the enemy are constant and never let up.

With Your discernment, we need not be deceived. With Your protection, we need not be "innocent bystanders." Surely, of ourselves, we cannot manage all the the subtle manipulations that pelt us every moment of the day through these media platforms. Help Lord! Grant us discernment. Open our spiritual eyes and fill our minds with Your Scripture to win the moment-by-moment battle for our attention.

Father, when we engage with the media rather than with You; when we spend more time listening and watching the media rather than listening and watching for You; when we read from our media sources, before we read Your Word. ... open our eyes to understand that we are in error and that we are quickly slipping to destruction. Bring us to confess, to repent and in Your mercy forgive us.

Show us that when we embrace the media as an "other god"...and remind us that You have said, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me." Forgive us. Help us align with Your Word. Strengthen us to shun the media when it becomes an idol. Have mercy. Help us to turn our attention, with great determination, to put You first, and to then use the media for Your purposes.

Whether we are a professional in the media, or a participant, we are all targeted by this powerful weapon. Teach us our part to be stealth warriors. Teach us to use these weapons for the Kingdom or Christ. Show us how to use these weapons to engage the world to know the Truth of Jesus Christ. Let us not be sucked down into this maelstrom of abhorrent pleasures.

Engage Your army to spread the Good News. Help us to engage in battle with Your discernment and effectually pray for Truth to shine forth! Raise us up—armies of millions to fight utilizing these tools that are available.

For media professionals:
Father, bring us deeper into this battle!

3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
4(For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

Open our eyes and our ears. Quicken our spirits to pray for the media professionals. May the wiles of the enemy not be subtle, may they slip up and be exposed. Plant the desire for truth within the media professionals. Give them an appetite to expose the truth rather than drive the agendas that they are pressured to promote.

Father, these media professionals are the carriers of these weapons of mass destruction. They are being used by the enemy to bury truth rather than expose it. By Your Word, they can be awakened...please speak. By Your Spirit, awaken them to realize they are being used...surely, they are like the suicide bombers that destroy the body. When the media presents lies and partial truths; when they bow to the agendas of those who hate You— truly the media professionals destroy spiritual integrity.

Father, awaken them. Give them a heart, mind and spirit ...an insatiable appetite for the truth. Present them with an understanding of their influence and that You will hold them accountable for what they deliver. Have mercy Lord! Instill in them that they are watchmen! You have given watchmen a warning. May they take heed.

Isaiah 56:10
His watchmen are blind, All of them know nothing. All of them are mute dogs unable to bark, Dreamers lying down, who love to slumber;

May the watchmen awake!...all of us. May we be diligent and proclaim Christ...all of us. May Christ be served with excellence.

Please pray with me:

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the opportunity to pray for our leadership. Draw Your church together for this purpose and fill us with a diligence and urgency. Help us to understand the disdain that You have for sin and that our leaders are targeted by enemy. Draw us to prayer. Help us to understand how critical it is for us to seek You in prayer on behalf of these men and women. Grant us a deep discernment.

There are so many leaders in our lives:

• Our political leadership challenges our nation. Father, it is hard to know what to pray.
• Our societal leaders seem bent on embracing every sexual perversion and making it legal. Those who oppose challenged to not only agree with it, but also to affirm the behaviors.
• Our business leaders struggle to keep their jobs under the pressure of increased revenue...greed has taken over.
• Our educational leadership strives to please society and teach political correctness rather than spiritual integrity.
• Many church leaders have fallen away from Your Word and have brought perversion int Your church.

These men and women will eventually stand before You and make account of their lives, their decisions, their motives.

Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him and he shall direct thy paths.

Give them a heart for accountability. Help them to live with this truth that they will stand before You and may this be foremost in their minds. This message impacts our lives at every level from the food and clothing we buy to the laws under which we live. Father, I acknowledge that this battle is not against flesh and blood.

Ephesians 6:12
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

So truly, Christians have the government we deserve. We know there is more to this than what we see in the physical. Forgive us for our lack of diligence. Father, You have commanded us to pray for our leaders and we will stand to give account as well.

1 Timothy 2:2
1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.
3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

We need Your Holy Spirit to fill us. Pour out a spirit of integrity and dignity. Wash us thoroughly—every particle of our being: physical, emotional, spiritual— that we may understand cleanliness through the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Humble us, Father, that our eyes may be opened and we may see our sin. I ask this for Your church and for our leaders.

Forgive us for the degeneration of our appetites. Our appetite for entertainment, for sexual perversion, and leaders who entice us to bargain with truth. Help us to reset our thinking and the direction of our lives.

You are the Creator and You have made us in Your image. Grant our leaders new creative solutions that would be honorable to You. Father, the U.S. society has become corrupt. Forgive us for ignoring it. And now there is a penalty for taking a stand for truth and justice. So we need strength, resolve, and a spirit of sacrifice if we are going to stand according to Your Word.

We cannot do this without You but all things are possible with You. Raise us up to know and believe that You are are our hope. Grant us the resolve to stand strong and fix our gaze on the day of our accountability before You. Fill us with a deep joy that our standing before You is all that matters. May this flood through this nation. May leaders from every crevice of society, from the POTUS to the lowest manager, be diligent. Truly this could change our nation.

With You, all things are possible. Have mercy, O God of mercy.

Heavenly Father,
You alone, O Lord are qualified to judge. You look past he outward appearance and into the hearts. You have founded integrity, and You set the bar for righteousness and holiness.

Who isn't in business!?! Everyone who is an employee is part of a business. Everyone who is a "consumer" takes part of a business transaction. Truly, we are all "in business"...directly or indirectly, whether we buy or sell, we are all making business decisions.

Father, our economy seems to have been taken over by greed. It is in such disarray. You, who judge the heart; You know all that has transpired. You know the "secret deals" that have been made. Even the secret deals we make in our own thoughts...You are there. You know all the decisions where You have not been carefully sought.

For business owners:
Father, our society diligently pushes us to ignore You in business transactions. We are challenged not to express our faith anywhere except in our churches. Turn our hearts. Truly, if those without faith in You were on the receiving end of fair and solid business transactions, it would demonstrate the goodness, fairness, justness and righteousness that only You can bring to a situation. They might even like it!

Would You establish our hearts with integrity and honesty? Please touch our consciousness and help us to see the ramifications of not seeking You diligently in our business decisions. Establish business owners to desire honesty and integrity. Give us a heart to please You in our dealings and seek You diligently with all decisions. Satisfy our hearts and minds when we please You by conducting our business with justice.

Proverbs 11:1
11 A false balance is abomination to the Lord: but a just weight is his delight.

Father, give business owners a longing for Your Word. May we daily find time to meet You through Scripture. May this time with You be the essence to establish our day, our character and form the foundation of our business dealings. Truly, may we protect this time with You. Establish a hunger and a thirst for Your Word...may we languish in it daily.

For employees:
Father, our economy is changing and it seems that as we struggle to succeed, that employees are taking the hit. This seems to be happening in small ways, insignificant in the moment, but the big picture does not promote a positive outlook for them.

Please give them insight into the changes in employment that they may stay ahead of the curve and maintain a revenue stream for themselves and their families. Make those that put their trust in You to be an example in the workplace. Grow hearts that are loyal to You and that diligently seek to provide excellence to their employer each day that they go to work. Establish them with favor to their employers and raise them up both in responsibility and compensation. May their example inspire their managers, their employers to "do the right thing."

For those who trust in You and work for corrupt industries, corrupt companies ...Father, if their example cannot be used to glorify You, please take them out. Cause those businesses that are unfair, unprincipled, to be abandoned. Cause them to collapse!

For consumers:
Our economy is based on consumption. We all purchase our needs and very few of us are self-contained. Give us a keen sense of how to spend our sustenance, which comes from You. Help us contain our desires and seek You to be frugal, careful and thoughtful in what we purchase and the timing as well. Please drive us to disdain our debt and seek You to be rid of it.

Change our hearts to seek You diligently. Capture our minds to diligently seek to embrace Your righteousness in our business dealings. Show us the path to put our trust in You that we may not slide.

Bring us to prayer for integrity and honesty. Give us a stalwart spirit and a joy as we go along our way—knowing that we are serving the Most High God and that we are Your pleasure and delight.

For the US, Leaders, and those in authority, No. 2

***That the body of Christ in America would fervently pray for our nation and its leaders.

1 Timothy 2:1-2
I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

Please pray with me:

Heavenly Father,
Our lives here in America are no longer peaceful. This nation seems to be crumbling at every turn. Our leadership disparage each other. There is no sense of respect (self-respect or otherwise) or social appropriateness. Forgive us for not praying more for our nation. Forgive us for turning from You. But I boldly come before You and ask You to fill us with understanding and prayers for the men and women who lead in this nation, that by Your Spirit, we may return to You.

For our leaders, I ask that Your Holy Spirit open their eyes to see clearly the cause and effect that has brought about our current condition. Surely, the election can not solve our problems. We need Christ and Christ crucified.

Our leaders face so many challenges as we witness civil unrest, frustration, discrimination from so many fronts. The economic picture and forecast is bleak as our national debt has surpassed our ability to be honorable to our creditors. We are at great risk. Corruption and greed seems to have spread to the every sector, every crevice of our society. Our minds and hearts are in disarray as we try to sort out our lives, yes, even our prayers.

May the Body of Christ step up! Give us words from Your Spirit to speak to those who are unfairly accused, unfairly targeted, and where justice has alluded their lives. Cause those in leadership to have the words to say that would turn us towards each other rather than against each other.

You are unity: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Teach us how to bring unity of thought and mind to our daily situations and cause us to be identified as leaders. Show our leaders how to lead through their thoughts, words, and actions. May we be a nation of righteous action once again.

Father, is the Body of Christ depleted? Are we without hope? Uplift our spirits with the hope that would cause us to move, to pray, to become active in our neighborhoods, our churches, our work places. Fill our hearts with prayers for those who lead: from the retail manager to the President of the United States.

Help us to engage in prayer that You may build Your testimony to us and to this nation that if we would turn to You, there is hope. Fill our leadership with the humility and the courage to turn to You. Show them their time of great and unprecedented need, and may it be so overwhelming that they can determine that only You, only the true and living God can help us. ...and may they run to You to find Your grace, Your mercy, Your sacrifice for them. May they come to the point where they know that You will show them the path through this mess which we have brought upon ourselves.

May there be a movement to You. May there be an outpouring of prayer and supplication before Your throne. Move the Body of Christ as is appropriate to the situation and strengthen us to move swiftly at the unction of Your Spirit. Capture us to hear Your voice. Sensitize our spirits to know Your Spirit and be committed to following quickly and with stealth.

With You all things are possible. Awaken the Body of Christ. Help us be willing to get in spiritual shape to serve You effectively; not in our own strength, but in Yours.

Matthew 19:26 (KJV)
26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

Raise up Your army of prayer warriors for our leaders, that, even in the moment, we may up gird and support them to make decisions that align with Your Word and Your will. May we be found honorable in the day of Your coming.

For U.S. Judges to embrace the Ten Commandments and Christ's teachings

***That our judges would value and regard the Ten Commandments and the teachings of Christ.

Psalm 19:7-11
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Please pray with me:

Heavenly Father,
Your ways are perfect, O Lord. Your statues, Your law, Your commandments are before us as the standard to which we should strive. Yet, we cannot attain them. No matter how hard we try, we are found wanting. Truly, Your commandments lead us to failure—unless we Your provision through Christ. You knew that we would not be able to keep these commandments. We will always fall short. May this help us to realize our need for You...for Your salvation, Your guidance, Your redemption.

Unless You open our eyes to see, there is no hope. So how can our judges embrace the en commandments and Christ's teachings, if failure is the inevitable result? Change our hearts. Change the heart of every U.S. Judge to value Your standard of perfection. We seem to be so set on attaining the mark, that we have had to lower it or be failures. Unless You open our eyes to value our failure as an asset, then we are totally lost.

Forgive us for our desire to attain our goals, that we lowered the standard. We have done this over and over again. And now, our standard is so low, that we outwardly defy Your commandments, Your statutes, and Your testimonies. We not only defy the teachings of Christ, but we now have laws that support those who oppose You. Forgive us.

Forgive us for not raising our voices against these new laws and regulations in our nation. Forgive us for not praying and trusting more. Forgive us for not being on guard.

Change us! Change our judges. Change hearts. Change our land.

Your standard is true. Your standard is perfect. We need You. We need to embrace You and Your standards. Open our minds and hearts to see Your commandments as the only approach to life, living, and a functional society. May we analyze our past with the present and heartily return to the past, where we were in a place where You could bless us.

Call us to pray for those who judge. Call us to pray for those who define the laws of the Unites States. Create an army of prayer warriors that watch and pray for our land that we may once again be honorable.

Father, may this begin in every believer in Christ. May it spread to homes and neighborhoods. May it grow without hindrance that we can again raise up leaders who respect You and will embrace Your standards and the teaching of Jesus Christ.

Protection for Service Men and Women, No. 2

***That God would protect our service men and women both home and abroad. Also those who serve as first responders.

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Please pray with me:

Heavenly Father,
Many people desire to serve this nation, once great, and to protect the freedoms that we have enjoyed. They enlist in the service and serve diligently. Father, why did these people go into this line of work? They endanger themselves: men and women in the services, fire and policemen and women, first responders, including our national guard. Why? Because they see their mission to protect what we have and to serve others.

Protect them Father.

As our nation falls into deeper rebellion, it has become increasingly dangerous for these individuals. Grant them keen discernment. Trust has deteriorated between these individuals and everyday people. Help us all to find unity. Help us all to find ways to re-establish the trust and to identify the goals that we can all support.

Draw men and women of top character into these professions. May the be stalwart defenders of our nation. Raise up their hearts to be staunchly uphold our Constitution. Up gird their bodies. Strengthen them - all of them: their joints, bones, muscles... Strengthen them, psychologically...their mental faculties to be sharp and clear. Father, these individuals need to respond immediately to situations - give them instant reflexes that they can trust—that they know and respond appropriately to the situation to differentiate between potential harm, and need.

Father, our nation seems to be closing in on anarchy. People are taking matters into their own hands and these men and women, who serve, are caught in the middle, which has become increasingly dangerous. Protect them, Father. Surround them with Your heavenly hosts.

Overseas, there is deeper and deeper tension. It is hard to know who stands for Your ways. Give these service men and women courage. Grant them wisdom in their words and actions. Pour a goodly amount of common sense when determining their course of action.

For those that make critical decisions, may they seek You for direction. Father, we need a better moral and civil code. Give us help to align what we ask people to do with Your will and Your code of ethics. I ask that those who carry out orders, both in the civil and military community not have ethical or moral issues with what they are asked to do. May the quality of the decisions and orders hold strong before Your standard.

Again, Father, protect these people: physically, mentally, morally, psychologically. Protect them as they serve and may our nation turn back to You, that we have no regrets when we stand before Jesus Christ and His judgement.
