For my neighbors: You are Jehovah

You are Jehovah. You are self-existent. You are the I AM. You are Jah.

You are the God wo does not change. You promises never fail. Although we are unfaithful, You remain faithful. Your faithfulness does not depend on us. You are faithful becsuse You do not change. And Your glory will not be callenged. Your Name shall never be marred. You are Jehovah.

You are holy. You are distinguished from all other gods in Your unblemished perfection of holiness. Your Name shall not be profaned. Glory be to Yahweh.
Exodus 3:14
“And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.”
O great I AM. You have clearly laid out that we are prone to have other gods before You. We have other gods to excess. I confess sins of excess:
  • We have given way to worldly desires: houses, cars, technology.
  • We desire fashion to show off our bodies in seductive ways.
  • We feed our appeties of food that does not nourish.
  • We fill our bodies with whatever substances that might dull the longing in our souls: alcohol, drugs...
And yet, O God, our idolatry does not stop with our insatiable desire to consume. We have made ourselves gods. We think we are clever. We think we are worthy of praise. We think we can out do You at every turn.
  • You instituted marriage and we have redefined it.
  • You clearly made us male and female, and we have added multiple genders -- to mock You.
  • We are brainwashing cildren and convincing them to castrated...because You love the children.
  • You sent Your Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the justice for our sins that we might have everlasting life with You. But we want our own version and believe we can be joined with tecnology and keep living in cyberspace... We consider and even embrace "trans-humans."
The whole earth proclaims that You are God; that You are the Most High God; that You are the I AM and there is none like You. But we turn from Truth, and make up our own way.

And You are gracious. You are longsuffereing. You are patient beyond our understanding. You tell us this over and over.

Exodus 34: 6b-7
The Lord, The Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,

7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
You are Jehovah. You forgive sin when we repent and confess before You. Thank You.

You are Jehovah, You are Yahweh. You demand justice. You will not be mocked. You will not clear the guilty. You poured out Yourself in Your Son, Yeshuah, that our sins could be forgiven. You will have justice.

You are a great God. Have mercy on my neighbors. Please, I call upon You on their behalf. Many know You and are silent as their neighbors stand at the brink of Your judgement. Please activate those who know You. Pleaase prick their hearts to speak out about Jesus and the saving grace of the self-existent God. Please put an undeniable urgency in their hearts. Place it in a cushion of compassion for their neighbors. Emphatically call them to proclaim the Gospel.

So many people today are ignorant. They are desperate for answers and don't know to turn to You. Instead, they turn to the folly that the world has to offer. Again, they are ignorant. Please save my neigbors. Please reveal to them that You care and want to know them. You want to give them Your Peace. You desire to provide for them in all things. You desire that they understand the freedom that can only come through Christ.

O God of heaven, self-existent Jehovah...in Your mercy, embrace my neighbors. All for Your sake and for the Love that Jesus demonstrated through His suffereing for our sakes.

Please hear my prayer. Here I am. Send me.

Maranatha.

Dear reader, do you want to know Jesus as Savior. You can. Today.
Here is how.
