Psalms 145:18Please pray with me:
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth.
Heavenly Father,
You are the only source of real Truth. You are Truth and only by You can we know truth and justice. Do we want to know what is true and do we want justice? Or do we want the truth of our making? We concoct our own truth and call ourselves righteous. Forgive us.
You say You are near those who call upon You and that call upon You in truth. Raise up Your church to call upon You. Raise us up to cry unto You and to pour out Your Truth. Jesus, YOU are the way, the truth, and the life. (John 14:6). Yet, we desire our own version of truth. Forgive us and call us to You.
Such GOOD NEWS...truth is available to us! We don't have to devise our own plan for truth...because You have given us the real thing. Work in our hearts to truly desire real truth! Light a flame within us that we seek it. May our souls, dry as the desert sand, rise up and seek the living water that only You can provide. May we splash, drink long and deep, and be saturated with Your living water!
Do we want truth?
Father, this seems to be a bigger problem. Forgive us for preferring our own self-devised truth that serves our own agendas.
- The media abuses the influence they have. They lie repeatedly and covertly retract their lies —when no one is looking. They seek to influence the agendas of others without care for truth. They see their value in the number of readers rather than the quality and care of their products. Convict them. Call them to confess and repent.
- Mueller's Grand Jury. Father, there is so much garbage here. Where is truth? Because of the media, we don't even know what to believe or think. Do we want to know truth? ...or do we want to invent it? The people involved with this endeavor cannot consider finding real truth unless You guide them.
The depth of garbage is so deep that we cannot tell if what is reported has ANY credibility. Yet so many of us believe we are able to discern the truth from the media reports. I ask Your interference.
I ask You to elevate truth in this disruption and to bring truth to the surface, that it may be dismissed. Please raise up Your church to fervently pray for truth to be reported and known. Prepare us to face truth. Destroy every effort to promote lies and misleading quips
- Racial tension and animosity. You matter. You give us significance. Your love and care is for all people. We have lost sight of this truth. You love each person so much that You died for their sins. Did You leave some out? NO! It cannot be! It is our desire not to believe Your love that separates us. Father, we have lost sight of what You have saved us from —eternal separation from You. We choose to believe our own version of truth and have separated ourselves from Your Living Word —which is Truth. Help us Lord. Help us to return to Truth.
Raise up the church to testify and LIVE out Your love for all people. May Your testimony go out through the actions of a loving church, focused on promoting real Truth.
- The definition of marriage has changed. Father, I am so embarrassed that I did not pray more, speak more, and testify that Your definition is true and worthy to be honored. I confess and repent. You defined marriage. Your definition is the standard upon which we will be judged. Call us to repent. Call Your church to clearly demonstrate Your design for marriage in a way that invites others to see this Truth.
- Your church. Father, we are surrounded and saturated with lies from every direction. Saturate us with Your living Word and grant us discernment and wisdom to know Truth. Grant us courage to speak Truth. Grant us a determined spirit to seek You and worship You in spirit and in Truth. We cannot do this of our own volition. Touch us. Waken us. Invigorate us to pray and to come together to bring Truth back to the United States.
Do we even want truth? Your Word tells us:
John 8:32Truth has eluded our nation and Your church is at fault. We are to blame that this nation has turned from You because You have revealed Truth to us and opened the doors to seek Your standards. You have made it known that the battle is not against flesh and blood and we, Your church, have access to the spiritual realm where the battle for Truth is being fought. Guide us to enter into this realm and beseech You fervently. Then may this nation turn from its wickedness and find freedom based on truth.
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
John 16:13
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
Help us Lord. Help us, that we may stand strong and that we may be found faithful in the day of His coming.

ReplyDeleteI come with thanks that You hear our prayers. I come with a heavy heart, burdened for decisions made by the President of our nation. But I come in praise to You because Your Word clearly tells us that You choose the leaders and those in authority. Your Word tells us that You have Your ultimate purposes and those purposes will be fulfilled. Thank You. Praise be to Your Name. I believe Your Word. I believe You are the One True and Living God. I believe that all of Heaven and Earth shouts Your glory. Praise be to Your Name.
Father, may the church wake up. Wake us up. Please wake us up. Please open our eyes to see the importance of praying for this nation and for Israel.
Father, I pray that President Trump will understand the sever consequences of severing our ties. Please give VP Pence the words to convey to President Trump the implications of dividing Israel, of going back on his promises to protect them.
I please this case - quiet his heart and the need to make the biggest deal ever. YOU will make the biggest deal ever. Raise up Your army of warriors on behalf of this man, this nation, and for Jesus' sake.

ReplyDeleteI seek You. I seek prayers for this nation. We are bereft of truth. I'm not even certain that we, as a nation, want to see truth. I include Your church as well.
I am ashamed of my lack of conscious attention to Your Word, where it commands me to pray for my leaders and those in authority. Forgive me. Thank You for this forum where I can repent.
Please fill Your church with prayers. Please call us together. Unify us on behalf of the United States.
Father, have mercy on our leaders. Wake those tempted by deception. May the deception be lifted from our eyes, especially those in Washington D.C. Holy Spirit, cause us to arise and seek the wisdom from above, especially concerning Israel.
Give President Trump a heart for Israel, and more importantly, a heart for You and Your will, and especially Your Word.
I ask that many speak Your Word to him. Give him ears to hear on these matters. Blind him to "the deal"... the fame. Father, please bring shame to his heart and mind. Blind him to the adrenaline of power. Reel him in.
Raise up Your Word in his heart, that he may first have peace in his heart and soul and spirit. I ask it in Jesus' Name.

ReplyDeleteThank You for this day and that Your Word is Truth, it is alive, and it is active both day and night. I give You praise and glory for the fullness of the day. You are omnipresent —You are here. Thank You. You know the essence of men's hearts. You know the essence of my heart. There is no hiding in You. Thank You.
You have loved this nation from its inception. You have protected us through and through as we have honored You and Your Word. You honored us and protected us while we honored You...a Judaeo-Christian nation.
But we have turned to our own way. We have left Your Word. I did not pray as I should have. When the President said, "We are now a post-Christian nation...", even then, I did not pray. Please forgive me.
I come, embarrassed that I have been so lax and taken Your protection for granted. Please forgive me.
Please do not lift Your hand from me or this nation. Please move us deeply to repent. Please move our hearts to hear Your Word and take responsibility for that which You put in our safe-keeping. Have mercy O God.
Have mercy on our President. Guide and direct his heart regarding our foreign policy, especially regarding Jerusalem. Father, may he see the temptation to make the deal of history as the temptation of Eve in the garden. The devil hisses at him, tempts him with greatness. Who is there to speak Your Word? ...May there be many! Please Lord, have mercy.
Indeed it would be the "deal" of history - of the U.S. May many appraise him of the connection between Israel and the U.S. from Your perspective. Please raise up this information.
Father, he gets mesmerized by the hissing. You know O Lord, what thwarts his attention...give him self-control. May it not be too much for him. Grow him in You Word. I ask the Holy Spirit descend on him at this time. I ask the Holy Spirit - please teach him the Word, the consequences, and give him the strength to withstand the temptation of the enemy.
Please, Lord God of creation, hear my prayer and have mercy.

ReplyDeleteYou are the Author of Hope, and Your hope is eternal. I give You thanks. Your hope is based on Truth. Jesus Christ, You are Truth. I give You thanks.
I come now regarding our leaders and those in authority. I ask for Your mercy and grace. Father, these men and women are swamped with untruth. They live each day with those who have their own agenda and their own version of truth. They all need You!
We need Your discernment. Please, Father, may thos in leadership and authority, turn to Your Word to find the real truth. Give them discernment regarding the people around them. You know the sheep and the goats. Without Your help, they cannot tell. Help Lord. Please hear my feeble prayer for these people.
You have chosen our POTUS. You have set him in office for your purposes. Surround him with truth. Raise up those who will speak truth and set them around him. Give him uncanny wisdom "from above" to know who and what to believe.
For all those in authority in churches, in civic and state law offices, Father, may they turn to You to find true wisdom and to find truth. May they find Jesus and may they find the Holy Spirit.
Father, there are those who think this is a battle of flesh and blood, but You have said otherwise. May those fighting in the flesh, be enlightened. May they look to You and not be afraid. May they come to You and find that the Battle belongs to the Lord. Hallelujah.
Father, please hear my prayer for this nation. Raise up Your warriors to fight from the prayer closet. I know that there are many more with us than with them. I ask for mercy.
Awaken this nation to return to its foundation of Your Word. We can not do this on our own. I ask for Your help. Have mercy O God, have mercy.
